Skincare: NUTOX Basic 123 Set Review

Okay lah I tarik balik my statement entry before regarding product susah masuk drugstore, sebab baru baru ni je I jelajah drugstore and tengok lambakan produk melayu yg dah berbondong-bondong masuk. Haih, drugstore market pun all these millionaires product timbang kilo nak kacau ke? I know they wanna cari makan tapi where as we can go after this untuk dapatkan product yg selamat digunakan? Even Caring Pharmacy yg ada certain selected good product pun got that Melayu product yg hurm entah lah tatau nak kata. Bkn tak support Melayu, dah support pun sebelum ni sebabtu I can say this way. Banyak buruk dr yg baik. Last 3 years, muka I breakout teruk plus sunburn right few days before tunang sebab product melayu lah. Ok done about that, move to review.

I bought NUTOX Basic 123 Set as I find ST does not enough untuk cover others skin concern of mine. Honestly I pakai beli je NUTOX ni. Satu je sebab: It's PARABEN Free.

Ya kalian, I am one of those that reacted so bad towards Paraben. And to add up more dramatic to my sad skincare life, my daughter pun tak boleh dengan Paraben, it's run in the blood y'know, gene gais gene. Sobs!

Disebabkan kita kena jadi pengguna yg bijak, so I bought this set for only RM50 dekat Shopee sebab masa tu tengah discount apa tah, fret not darlings, I beli dekat acc Watcon yg authorized and verified dekat Shopee so its a 100% genuine. Dalam kotak tu ada 4 ketul barang yang I akan review down below. Keep reading fellas nak cantik jangan malas. Eh rhyme pulak.

Tadi kata 4 barang kan? Mcm biasa la I dah buang yg lg 1. AHAHAH!

-Cleansing Foam

- Astringent Toner

- Moisture Emulsion SPF 25 PA++

- Advanced Serum Concentrate (not in a picture)

Before I go any further, lemme tell you guys that NUTOX is a Malaysian Brand ya. Dan marilah kita menimba sedikit ilmu. NUTOX adalah dibawah syarikat bernama Tohtonku Sdn. Bhd. selain NUTOX, jenama seperti Nanowhite, Follow me, Ubermen, Koolfever, dan banyak lagi adalah dibawah pengelolaan syarikat di atas. Terkejut bukan? I pun, cis selama ni aku ingat koolfever dari Jepun. Nampak sgt level ilmiah aku low.

1. Cleansing Foam (RM 20.32 - Watson Online)

Weight: 100ml

Ingredients:

Water, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Lauric Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Myristic Acid, PEG-75, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Cera Alba, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Polysorbate 20, Proplyene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexlyglycerin, Fragrance, Swiftlet Nest Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Artemisi Capillaris Flower Extract, Actinidia Polygama Fruit Extract, Magnesium Gluconate,Algae Extract, Cichorium Intybus (Chicory)  Root Extract, Maltose, Cycclomethicone, Lecithin, Alcohol Denat, Disodium Phospate, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Disodium EDTA, Tetrasodium EDTA

They claim:

Use this renewed Nutox Cleansing Foam to wash away pore-clogging residues & feel the non-drying freshness. A rich lathering cleanser which also brightens & protects skin against visible signs of ageing. Skin looks younger, feels hydrated, refreshed and smoothed, instantly.

Pros:

It does make my skin feel smoothed, instantly. 

Rasa brigthen juga mungkin sebab ada Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

Bila basuh muka boleh rasa skin refreshed and bersih.

Cons:

After near 2-3 weeks of usage, bila lepas basuh muka je tetiba rasa muka tight sangat dekat area U zone (checks, chin). Hurm... why must you kacau my skin pH level?whyyyyyy...

I thought they claim non-drying? And suitable for all skin type? Tapi no, it's drying on me. Others yg dorang claim younger, anti aging somehow tak nampak pula. I wonder how come second ingredients dia Stearic Acid and they claim suit for all skin type? Stearic Acid not really good for those who have oily skin and it is comedogenic ingredients level 3. 

Repurchase: NO

Who will might love this: People with Normal Skin type.

2. Astringent Toner (Price to be revised)

Weight: 125ml

Ingredients:

Water, Propylene Glycol, Tremella Fucifomis (Mushroom) Extract, Fructan, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Gluconate, Yeast Beta-Glucan, Swiflet Nest Extract, Actinidia Polygama Fruit Extract, Magnesium Gluconate, Algae Extract, Chicorium Intybus (Chicory) Root Extract, Maltose, Artemisia Capillaris Flower Extract, Cyclomethicone, Lecithin, Disodium Phospate, Tocopherol, Ascorbic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Fomes Officinalis (Mushroom) Extract, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

They Claim:

Nutox Astringent Toner, with pH balanced formulation instantly soothes & refreshes skin, while providing 24hrs moisture to refine & tighten pores. Skin texture is instantly smoothened, so make-up is easily applied & last longer. 

Cerita sikit lah sejujurnya I bought this Set just because of this toner. Banyak review raved abt this toner sesuai untuk sensitive skin/acne prone skin. So I pun eager lah nak try tp kalau beli toner itself, quite pricey sebabtu beli one set terus, the price I can't recall dekat Watson Online pun ada toner yg baru oxyfusion type so I afraid the price might be different with this version. Later lah I tell the price ho?

Pros: 

I like the bottle, it's a spray bottle. Situ dah boleh save tak payah pakai cotton face, just spray directly to your face sambil fefeling. Definitely hygienic right?

Cons:

Sebelum beli khatamkan dulu apa itu ASTRINGENT toner. Don't be like me pakai ikut je orang kata best terus beli.

First spray I can feel the burning. I don't like burning feels right after I cleanse my face, sbb masa tu muka togel tade apa apa tiba je muka rasa mcm terbakau, tak rasa scary ke yop?

The smell is so strong guys. Ya Allah sis ni ada resdung bau yg strong is definitely No lah. Mmg alah betul dgn skincare yg kuat fragrance ni.

For everything yg dorang claim above, satu pun sis tak dapat rasa, rasa nak marah ada lah.

Repurchase: NO NO NO

3) Moisture Emulsion SPF 25 PA++ (RM 39.87 - Watson Online)

Weight: 50 ml

Ingredients:

Malas nak taip satu satu, rujuk sini.

Pros:
Usually moisturizer dalam jar, but this one dalam pump bottle, hygienic!
Plus one sebab dia sekali dgn SPF and PA, save part sunscreen dah (tapi spf 25 tak cukup sebenarnya k)
Watery and cepat absorb, tak melekit like typical moisturizer.


Cons:
I DON'T LIKE THE SMELL! Just don't lemme start describing it guys, fragrance dia kuat gila lg kuat dr their toner. I don't fancy strong smell due to masalah resdung agak kronik, I feel like my nose boleh tertanggal sebab keep on sneezing. Tak boleh ah bau yg kuat ni terus I ditch it without further notice.


Repurchase: NO FOR ME


Who might love this: Those who fancy strong smell in their skincare? and lazy af who don't like to wear separate sunscreen. aha!

4. Advance Serum Concentrate

I will make one whole entry about this, sebab ni je satu satu nya yg I dpt free in this Basic Set tapi I willing to buy full set. Later k? andddd I dah buat the advance serum concentrate review HERE.





Overall thought:

NUTOX Basic Set is not for me. I can't give my overall thought when none of Basic Set give me good result. I guess my skin tak rasi with the product. Other review I baca ramai je yang berpuas hati dengan basic set probably skin dorang boleh carry the ingredients but unfortunately not me. Sobs.


P/S: I only finish up the cleanser but not the toner and moisturizer. If anyone who wear NUTOX and already lovin it to the top, I dengan berbesar hati nak bagi my toner and moisturizer ni. Sayang sgt sebab toner I spray like 3-4 times je tapi burning sensation tak hilang so I stop using it. While for moisturizer pulak, bau dia mmg I tak boleh tolerate, I pakai like 2-3 pumps only. Do comment down below if ada yg nak, I bagi free by post, u guys just bear the postage je.
